Scarred Memory (old one)

A constant lie, a belief of faith dispelled
One pillar broken, which can now never mend
Cant look beyond this cloud of dust
A fire in the heart, wish there was never a start

Darkness surrounding with a feeling of desolation
A step back reminds me of the treachery
A step forward feels like it can never exist
So many blissful years and now a crack int he very foundation

A part of the body amputed, pain endless
Too much of indulgence is the cause of such state
I had thought destiny was sealed, but this was in my fate
its time to move on, time has flown past now to sit and obsess

Show me the light once again, i seek your blessing
Take my hand now before i sink too deep
Make me the strongest at this point when my heart is breaking
this mistake i promise to mend , this is a promise i shall keep
