Fearless finally

I push the door open to let the fresh air come in
A pleasant breeze brushes across my face
Engulfs me in its aura like a slave
A smile parts my lips and I wonder where have you been

A hand reaches to help me out
To soak in the delirious sun
I take my first step a little anxious
I wonder will this end my emotional drought

I look at the sky so vivacious
I want to fly high and touch the clouds
Absolutely undaunted I want to run ahead
Get the lost back and let all my inhibitions shred

Dreams unfullfilled start to unwind
New ones getting woven
It still seems so far away
But now i can stand strong and yet be sure of the undefined

Story has to end for a new beginning

Fallacy , a dream land for years it was
The fable seemed to continue forever
A deception it was from the beginning
To keep the innocence alive this was my last endeavor

The curtains string slipping from my hands
The drama coming to a frivolous end
The anticipation making me breathless
Can I now run back and make the amends

The curtain falls flashing the entire life by
Split of a second it shows it all
What had led to the shallow emptiness?
It was the fear that had created all the walls

But I couldn’t let go off life just so soon
I knew there was more for me in store
This couldn’t be the end
Not for me just yet, it was time to rise, time to transcend

Let the barriers fall, let the bricks make new walls
But not to separate but to make each as one
Make the future like it never was
let go of the past, it can’t be undone

Road less travelled

Its time to say goodbye
for new beginnings to come and embrace
i take a look around and accumulate the left over’s
free like the albatross flying away without a trace

Its time to touch the horizon
and fly beyond to allure the wild
to spread a little benevolence
and break the shackles of the forbidden child

i dance in the rain, drop down to my knees
hold on to the ground to only soar up high
An illusion coming to life finally
Lighting up all the dark corners like a firefly

I soak up the sun and blend in the infinite colors
The prism broken I take one step at a time
My leaps turn into bounds with every passing moment
Carried away I cant complain, I am complete in my prime
